Who Qualified for SRD SASSA R350 Grant
Social grant applications are administered by the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA R350). Information on social grants and how to apply is available on the Services section of this website in all South African official languages.
All persons interested and qualified for the SRD SASSA R350 Grant must take the following steps in order to apply and get their grant on time.
- Apply for social relief of distress at your Online by following these steps
Step 1 Requirements
- Identity Number or Department of Home Affairs Refugee permit number
- Name and Surname as captured in the Identity Document
- Gender and Disability
- Contact details – Cell phone number
- Residential Address
Who Qualified for this R350 Grant Money
People who have no income and do not receive any other government support are eligible to apply. R26.7 billion has been set aside for the grant.

Caregivers are also eligible to receive the grant if they are not receiving any grant on their own behalf.
